At Wainstalls School we work very hard to best serve our pupils, their families and our local community. We consistently strive to create a welcoming, safe and happy environment where all children, staff and visitors are valued and respected. We encourage a sense of pride, purpose and a positive approach to learning where everyone works together with enthusiasm and confidence. We aim to nurture academic, personal, spiritual and social development within a caring and challenging ethos so that all of our pupils can achieve.
At Wainstalls School we are incredibly proud of the achievements of our pupils and we have again been recognised as one of Calderdale’s highest achieving schools. This is made possible through the dedication and commitment of our fantastic team of staff and governors and amazing support from parents and local community.
We are delighted that our children are excelling in our inclusive, caring and nurturing environment, which combines high expectations with a fun, enriching curriculum. Every child feels valued so that they are motivated and supported, enabling them to reach their true potential, reinforcing our school motto that ‘Together We Can’.
If you would like your child to join our school, please contact me to arrange a visit – we are very much looking forward to you and your child joining our team!On behalf of the Board of the Board of i-Trust Education and the Whitehill Academy Local Governing body, we would like to congratulate the Governors, Staff, Parents and Children of Wainstalls School for achieving such a wonderful Ofsted judgement.
The Ofsted process is a rigorous one and we are so pleased that Wainstalls more than held up to this level of external scrutiny. This was a great team effort and one for which all staff involved both within Wainstalls School and the Trust can be proud of. What a journey!
Well done to Mrs Waugh for her inspirational leadership which was rightly recognised and to you Mr Hesselden for your more than significant contribution and to all Governors at Wainstalls School. The quality of Teaching and learning, Leadership and Management, Behaviour and Safety and Achievement of Pupils were all ‘Good’, a super achievement.
