Statutory Information

The Trust is a company limited by guarantee and an exempt charity. The charitable company’s memorandum and articles of association are the primary governing documents of the Trust. Whitehill Community Academy was incorporated on 10 March 2011 and opened as an Academy on 1 April 2011. Whitehill Community Academy converted to become Whitehill Community Academy Multi-Academy Trust on 30th August 2013. Wainstalls School converted to become an Academy in September 2013 as part of the Whitehill Multi-Academy Trust. Whitehill Community Academy MAT changed its name to i-Trust Education on the 6th September 2017. Whitehill Community Academy left i-Trust Education and joined Trinity MAT on 1st January 2024, with i-Trust Education now a single academy trust with Wainstalls School.
