Welcome to i-Trust Education
We are a small Academy Trust in West Yorkshire currently made up of one primary academy, Wainstalls School.
i-Trust Education is state-funded and the Trust is directly accountable to the Education Standards Funding Agency and the Department for Education. The Trust has a Board of Trustees that oversees and monitors the performance of the academy.
Wainstalls School converted to become an Academy in September 2013 as part of the Whitehill Multi-Academy Trust. Whitehill Community Academy MAT changed its name to i-Trust Education on the 6th September 2017 and Whitehill Community Academy joined Trinity MAT on 1st January 2024.
Our Trust has a vision to continue to maintain its high academic standards and develop community cohesion for families in any of the learning communities that we are privileged to work with both now and into the future.
i-Trust Education works closely and creatively with our partners, aiming to ensure that all partner academies achieve a good or outstanding Ofsted judgement. We recognise that when adding new academies into the Trust we need to be sensitive in our approach, with a keen focus on listening in the first instance. We are confident that a high level of trust can be established very quickly and that we can build upon the positive momentum already in evidence within our learning trust.
We are keen that each academy maintains its own special and unique identity for the community that they serve. By working together, we strive to create academies that children, parents and staff are proud to be a part of.
We embrace partnership working and school-to-school support and have relished the new freedoms to innovate that the Education Act 2011 has opened up regarding the new school led system. We are keen to share our learning and learn from others in this regard so that we can achieve greater things together.
